چکیده

Aim: This study aimed to estimate the association of coronary artery disease complexity with non-HDL-C levels in premature CAD.
Background: Primary prevention has utmost importance terms minimizing number patients who had (CAD). Non-high density lipoprotein cholesterol (non-HDL-C) contains potentially atherogenic fractions.<br Material and methods: Coronary angiographic recordings two hundred acute syndrome were evaluated by cardiologists. Clinical, demographic lipid parameters compared SYNTAX score.<br Results: Median age group was 41 (18-45) years. One eighty five (90.5%) them male, nineteen (9.5%) female. score ejection fraction 17 (4.5-39) 50 (33-68), respectively. male significantly higher females [17 vs 12 (8-26), p=0.048), similarly, diabetic values syntax non-diabetic [19 (10-39) 16 (4.5-37), p=0.005), There no differences respect presence hypertension, smoking status family history CAD. There very strong positive correlation between non-HDL-C, TC LDL-C (r=0.958, r=0.946 r=0.921, respectively, p<0.001 for all). HgA1c showed correlation, whereas HDL-C negative (r=0.793 r=-0.620, both).<br Conclusion: a valuable tool assessing atherosclerotic cardiovascular young patients.

Association of low HDL and HDL2 cholesterol with coronary heart disease in noninsulin-dependent diabetics.

Lipids and lipoproteins were measured in 139 men and 145 women who were noninsulin-dependent diabetics (NIDDs) aged 45 to 64 years. Of these, 27 men and 16 women had had a previous definite myocardial infarction (MI). The NIDDs with MI (MI+) showed lower values of HDL and HDL2 cholesterol concentrations than NIDDs without previous MI (MI-) or NIDDS without any symptoms or electrocardiographic s...

Apolipoprotein C-III as a Potential Modulator of the Association Between HDL-Cholesterol and Incident Coronary Heart Disease

BACKGROUND High-density lipoproteins (HDL) are structurally and metabolically heterogeneous and subclasses with differential effects on coronary heart disease (CHD) might exist. Apolipoprotein (apo) C-III, a small proinflammatory protein that resides on the surface of lipoproteins, enhances the atherogenicity of VLDL and LDL particles, but little is known about the role apoC-III on HDL. We inve...

Association of total cholesterol and HDL-C levels and outcome in coronary heart disease patients with heart failure

The aim of the study was to evaluate associations of total cholesterol (TC) and high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) levels with prognosis in coronary heart disease (CHD) patients with heart failure (HF).Patients who were angiographical-diagnosis of CHD and echocardiographical-diagnosis of left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) < 45% were enrolled. Baseline characteristics were colle...
